Mashes great with comfortable handle. Only problem is that it barely fits in my kitchen drawer. I can't keep it in there because I think it will get stuck.

Excellent masher that will hold up for many years; any others of the same style continually bent on the sides or the perforated bottoms would slant upward. BLAH! Who needs it. I would never purchase any other brand.

Would purchase this product again.

I had a classic masher for years and finally decided to upgrade this year. This really works so much better, especially with sweet potatoes that are a little more dense. We make a lot of mashed meals in the winter and this one is sturdy and washes easy as well.

I've never owned any of the Zyliss kitchen products before so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The potato smasher works so well. The handle is perfect and the scraper work really well. I would definitely recommend.

Great for mashed potato lovers

My family loves mashed potatoes, which I make weekly. I have looked for a potato masher that worked well, but also that was comfortable to use because I have arthritis in my hands. When I found the Zyliss Potato Masher, Stainless Steel, I was delighted. It is ergonomically wonderful and even acts as a bowl scraper, so I don't have to use another tool. It's dishwasher safe, and I like to hang it by its hanging hook.

Sturdy potato masher

This does the job - mashes potatoes! The holes are not fine so you will have some lumps, but I prefer a little bit of texture. This is a heck of a lot easier and cleaner than using a rice masher. I suppose you could use this masher first and then put it through the ricer. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable.

I love Mashed potatoes and Mashed vegetables. The potatoes are easy to eat and when I use the potato masher I can mash them to my likings. Some mashed potatoes are too mushy. But since I'm in control I can stop when the potato has the right consistency. This is a perfect masher.

This product is well made- great quality and very study. Can use it for other purposes- not just limited to potatoes. For example cooked lentils or other items where hand blender would a bit stronger than needed. It does have some silicone in the handle- red color which I am not a big fan of. Would have preferred it to be completely stainless steel.
