Easy to use on all types of fruit or vegetables including onions, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumber, the Handheld Slicer delivers quick and perfectly even results. Simply place the food inside the food holder, adjust the thickness selector to the desired setting and use a sharp downward movement along the length of the bed to slice or julinne. The tracked food holder allows you to slice with confidence without the fear of food slipping or moving out of place. All parts are dishwasher safe and easily separate for cleaning.

Handheld slicer

This model is much improved with the tracked sliding chute which makes it much safer to use.
I julienne my vegetables and fruits.
Unfortunately the julienne assembly has broken on two that I purchased but both were replaced under warranty.

This slicer is so easy, I use it everyday

I love this Zyliss handheld Slicer.It is well designed with a sliding lever to choose the thickness you want. It slices my vegetables for my salad so easily and quickly. It juliennes my carrots, beets, radish and sweet potato.. fantastically. Diced onions are a breeze. If you are making slaw or braised cabbage this will slice it up in no time. It makes me happy! I totally recommend you to get one.

Couldn't be without it...

This is my third ZYLISS food slicer of this series since 12 years, used every day for food prep - and yes, the new modified vegetable holder does a good yob. I kept the old red plastic holder for certain applications as well - it works better and simpler with certain fruits and veggies. Great value for money with this outstanding ZYLISS gadget.
