Swiss National Day Rösti

On the 1st of August we celebrate the heart and soul of Switzerland with a beloved classic – Rösti.

Gourmet Drum Grater
Wood Fibre Chopping Board

INGREDIENTS:
  • 500g potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
Dip
  • Greek yogurt
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Parsley

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Start by grating the potatoes
  2. Give them a wash to remove the starch so they get extra crispy
  3. Strain the liquid and transfer it to another bowl
  4. Add salt and pepper and mix
  5. Add oil to a pan and add the potato mixture once it's heated
  6. When it has become golden brown on the bottom flip it and cook until it's evenly cooked throughout
  7. Serve with a dip of your choice and enjoy!
